Chicago rapper turned director Boots Riley debut feature gives a call centre based wake up call to everything from white privilege to multi national corporations in this wild near-future bizarro anti-capitalist dystopian comedy starring Laiketh Stanfield, Tess Thompson, Terry Crews, Danny Glover & Armie Hammer. After landing himself a job at a call centre Cassius Green is advised to use his 'White Voice' to get ahead. It not only propels him to the elite world of the high rolling 'power callers' upstairs, making big deals and big money, but in turn it also uncorks an outrageously weird world of corporate unscrupulousness. A wildly unpredictable, riotously funny, startlingly satirical look at corporate culture, race relations, reality TV and social media that both recalls the work of Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry whilst firmly being part of the new wave of Afro-surrealism in popular cinema.
