POP UP CINEMA BRIGHTON

DIRECTOR: Jacques Audiard
STARRING: John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, Riz Ahmed as Hermann Kermit Warm
Rebecca Root, Allison Tolman, Rutger Hauer,
Carol Kane, Ian Reddington, and Richard Brake.
The brilliant Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) and John C. Reilly (Boogie Nights) star as Charlie and Eli Sisters, a brotherly duo of assassins in search of two would be gold prospectors played by the equally brilliant Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko, Nightcrawler)and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal, The Night Of). Based on the Mann Booker prize nominated novel of the same name, BFI Film Fest / Silver Lion / Cesare / Bafta / Grand Pix and Palme d'Or winning director Jacques Audiard takes a completely unique approach to the western genre, melding American buddy road movie with European art house existentialism. Thoughtful, thrilling, funny and ultimately mysterious, Audiard’s English language debut is every bit as fascinating as his previously
highly regarded works such as A Prophet, Rust & Bone and Dheephan.
