White Wall Cinema's Socially Distanced Summer Screen present

DIRECTOR: Yoshifumi Kondō

STARRING: Brittany Snow, Jean Smart, Cary Elwes.

From Studio Ghibli, the creators of Spirited Away, Ponyo, and My Neighbour Totoro, comes another classic from the studios back catalogue, in this charming coming of age story of a young girl who is spending her summer dreaming of becoming a writer. After finding out all her library books were previously borrowed by the same person, she sets out on a quest to find him, and stumbles upon magical inspiration in an old antique store along the way. Featuring the original (& best) appearance of Ghibli's magical cat character the Baron, one of studios most popular characters, he inspired a 2002 spin off film as a result of popular demand.
