|| What is secret movie club? ||

Our "Secret Movie Club" project takes a movie you most likely haven't seen before (but will instantly love) and keeps the identity of the movie a secret, only revealing which film you are watching when the opening credits roll. The aim is to provide you with a brilliant forgotten or overlooked gem from cinema's past or present (or at least a major lesser screened cult classic). Every time we do these events we get such phenomenal feedback from you guys. It's incredibly rewarding to have people say to us they had never even heard of the movie we screened for them, but that it is now instantly among their favourites!

This time we bring you a forgotten gem that arguably kicked off an entire genre. A comedy about the pitfalls of being mega rich (you can’t get the staff these days!), an insightful look at the class divide, it’s a bona-fide classic that piles on the acerbic wit lampooning the pampered, whilst 
offering sly social commentary. As ever, you won’t know the title of the movie until the opening credits roll, but once again we will present you with an under-appreciated gem that will enrich your understanding of the world of cinema and offer some unexpected delights.
