INFORMATION ON OUR COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS
CORRECT AT OF DECEMBER 19TH 2021 - THESE MEASURES MAY CHANGE AS THE SITUATION EASES

In light of Covid-19 we are putting in place a number of measures to ensure your experience is safe and enjoyable one. We are not only using the relevant UK government guidelines, but we are looking to industry leaders and other cinemas internationally to put in place the best possible practices. New safety measures now in place at our events include:
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Social distancing will be in effect throughout the entire venue and measures such as signage, floor markings, supervising stewards and more form part of plan to allow a natural and safe flow throughout the entire venue. Unlike regular cinemas we only screen once a day, so we will not need to stagger showtimes, we can focus our Covid-19 measures exclusively around a single occupancy each day. In addition all our screenings will have strictly limited capacity so as to ensure social distancing is easy.
SEATING / TICKETING
Seating will be allocated carefully with social distancing in mind. There will always be empty seats around your group to ensure social distancing, with the correct spacing between you and other patrons to ensure safety and comfort. All our screenings will have strictly limited capacity, so as to ensure social distancing.
Our booking system asks that you only book a ticket for members of your group that are sitting side by side, and create separate ticket orders for those outside your group. If you cannot do this for some reason, or mistakenly purchase one ticket for groups that you want to distance then simply e-mail us at info@whitewallcinema.co.uk (no later than 24 hours before showtime where possible).
There will only be a small allocation of "walk up" tickets available so buying advance tickets only is strongly advised. If for whatever reason you can only pay on the door, we will need you to bring cash and would advise where to possible to e-mail us at: info@whitewallcinema.co.uk to reserve your seats no later than 24 hours in advance.

HAND SANITISING
All customers and staff will have access to hand sanitiser stations, and of course our team will have a strict hand washing schedule in place.

FACE COVERINGS
Please wear a face covering when you visit in line with government guidelines (which does offer some exemptions). When seated in the auditorium you will be socially distant from other guests, and you may remove your face covering to enjoy food and drinks. If you should forget to bring yours, lightweight, breathable and disposable face coverings will be on sale at the venue.

VENUE CLEANING
We will be doing additional cleaning to ensure a Covid safe environment. Unlike regular cinemas we will only be having one screening per day, so will have ample time to be able to thoroughly clean and sanitise the venue and seating areas, using both the careful physical cleaning of surfaces, as well as the use of special sanitising sprays to ensure a thorough reset of the venue after and before each days screening. In addition to this, hygiene measures will be in place throughout the venue during the event itself, to make sure the limited number of touch points we have in the venue are repeatedly cleaned.

OUR TEAM
All staff will receive special training with clearly thought out guidelines as to how to operate our venue safely and ensure patrons are safely managed throughout the venue and staff will be provided with safety equipment where relevant. All points of sale for drinks and food will be carefully risk assessed and made safe in order that you can order in comfort and with confidence using the same protocols established across food and drink outlets nationally.

CONTACTLESS / CASH PAYMENTS
Contactless payment is encouraged for our food and drink but cash is also fine and we have protocols in place to make that easy and safe. There will only be an exceptionally small allocation of "walk up" tickets available so buying advance tickets only is strongly advised. If for whatever reason you can only pay on the door, we will need you to bring cash and would advise where to possible to e-mail us at: info@whitewallcinema.co.uk to reserve your seats no later than 24 hours in advance. Our archive film shop stall will be cash only (this stall can take cash in a Covid safe way).

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS
Please do not attend your screening if you are unwell or have symptoms of Covid-19. If you have bought tickets and can no longer attend as a result of Coronavirus we will happily swap your tickets for a future event of your choice, once you have finished self isolating. Please do your best to inform us of your non attendance as soon as is practicably possible in order that we can attempt to fill your vacant space. We regret that we may not be able to offer you a ticket swap for a future event if you do not inform us via e-mail at info@whitewallcinema.co.uk prior to the date and time of the screening.

We will of course continue to monitor the situation and update our practices based on new government guidelines and best practices adopted by cinemas both in the UK and internationally.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us via info@whitewallcinema.co.uk
