VENUE & SCREENING INFO
||2 Regency Road, BN1 2RU ||
Wagner Hall is located just off West Street Brighton on Regency Road, just 10 minutes from Brighton Station and under 5 minutes to the sea, it couldn’t be more central. It has raked theatre style seating for convenient viewing of our large screen indoors (we will sometimes add additional seating for social distancing purposes) and a spacious garden for our outdoor screenings and to be used as a pre film "beer garden" ahead of indoor screenings. Currently all of our Socially Distanced Summer Screen events are scheduled to take place at Wagner Hall.
SCREENING TIMING INFO
Doors open well in advance of screening times in order to give patrons extra time to safely purchase food and drink, take a look at our archive film shop, enjoy our outside space/beer garden and to allow gradual entry to your seats in a safe and easy way. Please try to allow extra time to get seated prior to the performance start time. Door opening times and performance start times vary and are listed on each individual event page throughout this website.
INDOOR / OUTDOOR SCREENINGS
Both our indoor and outdoor screenings have special social distancing and hygiene measures in place (see here). Screenings will go ahead whatever the weather, however outdoor screenings may be moved indoors if we deem it necessary (our indoor and outdoor locations are at the same venue). Any changes will be listed on the individual event pages and the status will remain "fixed" from Midday on the day of the screening based on weather reports etc. but we reserve the right to move the screening indoors prior to opening time on the day of the event should we need to based on inclement weather conditions, technical concerns or any other issues, should we deem it necessary. No refunds will be provided on the basis that our team decides a screening intended for outdoors should move indoors. For outdoor screenings you may wish to bring along picnic blankets and small cushions. It can get quite chilly in the evenings after sunset (films for outdoor screenings start shortly after sunset), so please bring appropriate clothing. Please do not bring any chairs or any seating that is raised, big or bulky. Only blankets and small cushions will be permitted. Obviously when screenings are indoors seating is provided and you won't need blankets / cushions etc, this applies to outdoor screenings only. Alcoholic drinks brought in from outside the venue are strictly forbidden.
